Way to many things that I do not know......

So today was the day that I wanted to have my blog get up to speed. I wanted to get my website up and rolling if not completed. Wanted to start my newsletter and really get things on track. Ahhhhhh! Well...I couldn't find my blog for about an hour then when I did find it I couldn't get to the spot where I could edit it. Eventually got that done. Then on to the website. Couldn't get into the control panel with that either. Then had to go through 100 templates to see which ones I liked. None. Then paid for and downloaded a few pics on istockphotos. Then found out I had to use their stock pics...Eehhhh! It was one thing after another and in the end I did close to nothing...How frustrating. After many hours of all this annoying stuff, we decided to cook dinner. Ahhh something we know how to do. We had a tasty dinner of a millet and cauliflower mash with roasted tomatoes, sauteed chard and goat cheese sprinkles. Soooo good. When the website is up and running we will be posting these healthy recipes. Oh and did I mention we followed this culinary delite with a nice block of Green and Black - 70% chocolate - mmmmm and good for you. Now for a good night sleep. Talk to you tomorrow.

Great day on the bike

Today was a great day. The weather was beautiful. After a little clean up around the yard we hopped on the bike and headed to the Bristol clock museum. Well we never got there. We stopped at Black Rock state park and had a picnic. We then did a little tour around Winsted. Lake Stumpy was beautiful as usual but rather buggy. We did some brain storming about to Garson's online business. He will be working with people to solve their everyday issues with quick, easy and inexpensive solutions. He will provide fix it solutions for home, auto and work.
Once home, we made a great dinner of Moroccan chicken and roasted root vegetables. Cooking is so good for you and can be very quick and easy. Stay tuned, we will be sharing our favorite recipes. Enjoy the evening. Tomorrow we will be sharing our experiences of setting up a business, a website and exploring marketing tools.

Lull in the action..........

I am so ready to start working with women in transition. It drives me nuts when you are ready to do something, chomping at the bit to do something but you have to wait. I hate to wait. I think you do your best work when you are inspired and hyped up over an idea. I find so much of the time that if you have to wait the idea starts to lose its luster. I did come up with some cool business ideas yesterday so that was good. We shall see where they go. Hoping to hear from some of you out there. What would you like to change in your life? What great ideas have you had and what happened to them?

Okay So.....

Yeah so I forgot to mention that we don't have a family farm right now. That is another part of our dreams, to own one. We will be growing organic veggies
hydroponically this summer in.It should be interesting. It's a start.

Well we have the eastern US map up and we are starting to track out a route for next years trip. Very exciting. Starting to figure out what we need for camp and how we will transport it. Garson wants us to wear clothes that we can walk into a stream wearing and scrub up with a bar of soap and presto clean. Ahhh, no! Well off to check out all the travel books we are accumulating. What do you think?

What would you do if you could do anything?

My husband and I were driving back from the city last Saturday after going to the NY Botanical Gardens and the International Car Show at the Javits Center. We decided to brain storm about what he wanted in the next year. Of course he said a Porsche Cayman and that 4,000 square foot. modern monster house but then he said something that caught my attention. He wants to go on a month vacation, cross country on our motorcycle. Yeah! Could we do that? Would we have enough money? Enough time? Hell yeah! We are making it happen. That's what a bottle of wine does for you. Makes all things possible. We are starting to plan the trip. Anyone have any suggestion? Places that we have to see? Great places to stay?
What are your dreams? Tell me I want to hear them....
